Covad is a VoIP & internet service provider targeting small businesses in NYC, California and Texas. They wanted to kick the phone company's ass, so we were up for the challenge. We created 30 second TV movie trailers and a targeted DM program that drove traffic to theRinging.com. The site hosted a horror movie in which a hapless office succumbs to the evil phone system. Cheesy? You bet. Effective? So much so that we crashed their switchboard and backlogged their sales pipeline for over 8 months.
